Exterior Railing
This is an exterior guard rail on 1.8 degrees of drop. We believe in quality work. We only use Stainless steel or galvanized steel concrete anchors on all of our handrail projects. Most handrails start to degrade starting with the concrete anchors. Other contractors use nickel coated or bare steel because they are cheaper and can be bought at your local hardware store. We custom order our anchors to have the best product so that your investment will last for many years to come.
Commercial Rolling Gate
Come to us for your commercial fence projects. If you want a touch of class combined with rugged lasting construction, Burnigbird should be a place to start.
Complete in house fabrication
This project was fabricated 100% in house with the exception of the remote control drive motor and gear strip. We engineer our own gate slides to delete rollers that always fail in favor of HDPE glide plates that never fail and are cheap and easy to replace after years of use. We also fabricated our tracking. This customer has a fleet of large trucks and there is no tracking available on the open market that can support the forces applied by large trucks and equipment.
Complete Project
We performed all the excavation, underground piping for electrical as well as the concrete work for this project. The extended verticals are intended for the future installation of barbed wire should the owner feel the need.
Stainless Stainless and more Stainless
We are THE guys in the Branson area for Stainless Steel work. We were presented with concept drawings for the project and had many engineering challenges to bring this project to life. This simple handrail is, technically, probably the most challenging handrail in all of Branson due to shape, material, and finish.
316L Stainless is as rigid and strong as tempered tool steel
The customer wanted the handrail to follow the contours of the pool. There are multiple radii breaking in different directions within individual sections. Imagine figuring out how to bend tow pieces of pipe that perfectly match out of a material that is almost twice as inflexible as grade 60 normal steel! Shout out to Phil for doing a great job with a lot of this hand rolling! We had to design several jigs to accomplish this project as well as build a custom electric over hydraulic rolling machine that was portable!!!!
Crazy Curves and Spindles and Spindles
Another challenge was how to center hundreds and hundreds of spindles perfectly spaced and centered for welding.
Base Plates and finishes
We had to engineer a baseplate where all the fasteners were completely hidden and could be taken apart easily. Once of the great things about Stainless Steel is its durability and ability to hold a finish. The nightmare is putting a finish on. These base plates are a combination of a bead blast finish with a No.8 mirror polish around the edge. The rest of the handrail is a N0.4 brushed finish all done by hand with a large assortment of specialized equipment, some custom made for this project.
It looks so simple in the drawings..................
We fabricated (but did not install) this decorative all aluminum decorative railing above the entry vestibule of this building. It’s 16’ across and does not have a uniform radius. Someone should have a talk with these architects…………. Bring us your hard stuff. We like punishment.
Round pipe handrail grouted in place
This is all welded 1.5” sch. 40 pipe that was pre fabricated and install. We core drilled all the holes and installed the handrail with non shrink grout. We performed the painting as well.
Long drops
We are keen to offer different alternatives to our customers based on our experience. The original design of the handrail had a continuous top rail that would of looked awful as it made its decent down the hill. We offered an alternative design that made the decent and still looked attractive and correct. We fabricated custom mounting brackets to physically attach the handrail to the back of the curb instead of having to dig and concrete each one in place.
We were proud when the owner of the property did a site inspection. He went straight to the rail first and commented that this was the best looking rail on all of his properties.
Little Touches.
We weld clean. A weld should be as attractive as the rest of the project. It was also our concept to add the hammered copper caps for that little bit of bling.
Entry Gate
This is a large entry gate for a hunting club in Arkansas. We used special order heavy duty adjustable hinges that have bearings in them. We do not like to use of the shelf junk from the local home stores or farm store. We like to over engineer our products so that your investment lasts as long as possible. We also engineered a compartment in the fence to protect the lock from ever being tampered with. ——- don’t lose the key folks.
We also designed this fence in house. This is a repeat commercial customer whose trust in our judgement and quality of work has been earned. Let us earn yours.
Very cool grab poles
These are a pair of grab poles made for the stairwell of a home. The main pole is n04 brushed stainless steel. The fittings are regular carbon steel that has been sand blasted and specially heat treated to a certain temperature to bring out the brilliant blues and purples. They have been clear coated to retain that color and brilliance for many years to come.
Grab pole
We truly enjoy doing the unique. Special touches like this can add value to your home. Just to see something unique every day that is yours and you are the only person with that thing is special. Bring us your ideas or ask us for some of ours.
Residential Fence
This is a style of fence, that to my knowledge I’m the only one who makes and I’ve not seen similar. I love this style of fencing because it is attractive, but subtle. It doesn’t intrude visually on what’s beyond, so if you have pretty woods that you still want to enjoy while sitting on your porch- this is perfect. This is also a very cost effective fence to build and is often cheaper than a cedar fence.
