      <image:title>Industrial Construction, Pipe and Boiler Tube Welding - Industrial Washdown System</image:title>
      <image:caption>This is a washdown system that I teamed up with Trent Premier Industrial Services to build. We started with just a bare tank. I helped to design the system. I then cut and fit all of the hard piping lines as well as welded 3/4 of it.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Industrial Construction, Pipe and Boiler Tube Welding - Industrial washdown pipe rack</image:title>
      <image:caption>We built the rack braces and hung all of the pipe in the top. We went with flange connections instead of field welds as this was an operating facility and we needed to reduce our footprint into their operations. Note the rolling offset with two holed flange. No problem with that over here.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Industrial Construction, Pipe and Boiler Tube Welding - Slip Flanges</image:title>

      <image:title>Industrial Construction, Pipe and Boiler Tube Welding - Hot pass going over root pass</image:title>
      <image:caption>Stainless and Inconel separates the wannabes from the real welders. Burningbirds philosophy is that the difference between a “welder” and a guy who can weld a little is the ability to run an x-ray quality root in MiG, Stick, or TIG on pipe in carbon or stainless steel.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5e122aa05c66b642e53f56c8/1658005653580-XTBP4W6KT7VBQ825FD5F/IMG_5189.JPG</image:loc>
      <image:title>Industrial Construction, Pipe and Boiler Tube Welding - Cap going over hotpass</image:title>
      <image:caption>99% of all SS welding done in an industrial environment is going to be TIG. The reason is quite simple. 99% of “welders” can’t handle SS stick welding. It’s also the most difficult root that one can put in. It is my opinion that SS and Incolnel stick is the most challenging by a landslide. The benefit to being able to do it is the same as in carbon. It’s faster ( I can average 5-7 6” welds a day on top of fitting and prep), and a whole lot cheaper. Argon just keeps going up.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Industrial Construction, Pipe and Boiler Tube Welding - If you are looking for the BEST craftsman for your challenging project, Burningbird welding is your only choice in Taney and the surrounding counties.</image:title>
      <image:caption>These pictures are all before the welds were buffed. I prefer to take the pictures before so you can see the lack of arc marks and a good welder can tell the story of the weld from a raw picture. I also love the colors that SS has when ran smooth and at the right heat.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Shop Projects - Forced air burn barrel</image:title>
      <image:caption>These are cool. A great help if you live in the country with no trash service. The barrels work with either a leaf blower or shop vac to create a venturi effect inside of the barrel. These will burn an entire week worth of trash in 20-30 minutes. They go through fall leaves like you can’t believe. The great thing is that they burn so hot, there is minimal if any ash or debris left over. It’s simply gone. They are the most fun at night. You will have a fire tornado 20’ in the air. They are quite safe but each comes with detailed instructions to keep you safe. The lid is very heavy and the handle design keeps the handles much cooler than the barrel which can glow like a strawberry at night. We use one and love it. Everyone one who has gotten one has loved it. We have great video of it, but cannot seam to get it to load on our webpage.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>This trailer lived in my mind for a couple of years till I got around to building it. It has all the tooling for pipe fabrication, structural steel fabrication and the rigging to put it where it goes. When Burningbird welding shows up to your project we are completely tooled and ready to work. I can Tig, Stick, or MIG weld out of this trailer at any time. I don’t believe in just a truck with an old machine in the back and a couple of grinders in a box.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Top View</image:title>
      <image:caption>It is not the focus of my shop to build generic trailers. If you need a basic utility trailer, we are not the people to call. I can point you in the direction of a local manufacturer who builds nothing but quality generic trailers. However, if you want something unique, or customized to satisfy a unique requirement and understand that the words “unique” and “custom” come with a unique and custom premium then Burningbird can be an option for you.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Tool box and work table in one</image:title>
      <image:caption>Everything on this trailer is built from scratch. I wanted a secure space to store all of my bulky items and double as a table to work from. Only idiots work on the ground.The wainscot idea came to me when I started on this box and I rode the theme through the whole project. I really like the effect it provided with the fenders. To me it is unique and I don’t recall seeing it elsewhere. The fenders have roughly 20 hours fab time on them. On reason is that I can’t stand butting two pieces of metal together. Every joint is a mitre. It’s stronger and looks better. It does require a little extra math and some cutting skil, hence the added time in fabrication.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Trailer Steps</image:title>
      <image:caption>Every trailer I build for myself has steps. I’m getting old and my knees aren’t what they used to be. The steps also function in stiffening the fenders. For these treads I used the expanded metal. I expect to have muddy boots climbing up and I can clean them off on the treads and not worry about mud accumulating on the treads.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>This box is divided inside to keep the leads separated and neatly stowed. There is some engineering to keep the box theft proof, or to discourage a thief. I believe there’s no way to completely prevent theft, you can only make them have to work at it, and if your lucky they’ll give up and walk away.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Welder skid</image:title>
      <image:caption>The welder is bolted into the skid and cannot be unbolted unless the skid is removed. The skid is bolted to the trailer. It can only be removed with a bridle hitch and a construction lift or a lift with a jib. I could of designed it to be easier to remove, but this makes it harder to steal. I can also remove this whole unit and move it onto the dually if needed.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Why the old beater truck?</image:title>
      <image:caption>I’m never asked this question when someone is next to the truck. In 2018 I found the truck in a cornfield by Sioux Falls, Iowa. It had 43000 original mile on it. The truck is the 1976 equivalent of buying an F550 today. In 2019 I spent 2 1/2 months doing a complete nut and bolt chassis restoration. I enjoy old iron and like the idea of this truck representing my business and my skill sets. I will be customizing the flatbed in the future to match the trailer.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Need Fenders?</image:title>
      <image:caption>Burningbird is capable of ordering any components that your trailer might require or want. If we can’t order we’ll make it. Custom is generally better. Ordered is cheaper. Note, all of our tandem fenders have supports in the middle. We believe that you should be able to walk on your fenders. They definitely won’t fall off then and sometimes its nice to be able to step up and feel safe when you do so.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Welds</image:title>
      <image:caption>At Burningbird welding, we take WELD QUALITY seriously. Compare my welds with the welds on your trailer. Weld quality MATTERS. Only a muddobber would tell you otherwise. Undercut, LOP, porosity, and the wrong heat ALL contribute to premature failure. If you look at a fender that has fallin off, I can promise you that it had to do with weld failure or a poor weld that compromised the metal in the heat affected zone. If you want good clean work that will last, come to Burningbird.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Time</image:title>
      <image:caption>A project like this only takes a couple of hours to complete once the parts are arrived. When I put your fender on your can sit on them or stand on them. That’s a properly installed fender. We can paint or just leave it bare for you to paint yourself.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Boat Trailer</image:title>
      <image:caption>I built this trailer to match a 1456 jon boat that is a full bass boat conversion. I built this trailer to take anywhere in the country and to launch a boat anywhere that there was water. No boat launch necessary. Deep water or shallow. I can launch in Springfield lake with no issues and never get wet. There are so many custom and unique elements to this trailer that I’m comfortable with saying that I’ll never see another one like it. I has a custom made drop spindle 1 ton axle, fully boxed frame, with the wiring completely inside the wiring. The boat slides on polyethylene runners sitting on top of oak supports.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Steps and Guides</image:title>
      <image:caption>There is plenty of places to step up. The fenders and steps are integrated. When I painted the diamondplate for the steps, I impregnated the paint with sand so that there is good traction when wet. The very sold guides keep the boat centered on the trail at all times. A HUGE help in heavy wind or river current.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Fully boxed frame</image:title>
      <image:caption>The boat that rides this trailer is VERY heavy. Twin 31 deep cells up front with casting deck and tons of storage. Power anchor, rear 58 series cranking battery for the 25 horse outboard and much much more. A normal light boat trailer would crumple under the weight.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Extended removable tongue</image:title>
      <image:caption>This tongue solved a couple of problems. Make the trailer as long as possible to launch in very shallow water and to prevent theft as well as fit in the garage. The whole thing removes with the pull of a pin. When painted the treads got the same sand treatment as the steps. I can walk from the bed of the truck across water and into the boat with out betting wet.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Tilt Trailer Update</image:title>
      <image:caption>The factory latching mechanism had failed on this trailer. It had been worked on by other people, but was never done right. We have the creativity and experience to generate solutions and custom fabricate them to work. It doesn’t always work to buy something off the shelf and expect it to work.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Tilt Trailer</image:title>
      <image:caption>The owner wanted a way to lock the bed down and have it sit tight. I came up with these blocks made from 1” bar. It works quite well in getting the trailer down tight. The holes for the lock only have a 1/32” variance from the lock, so, when it’s locked down, there is zero play.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>I have a pet peeve of where 99% of all trailer lights are located, at the end of the trailer on the bottom. They always get damaged and they are hard to see. I always mount my lights up high. I prefer to mount license plate on the fender ( now legal in MO) with the light above it illuminating it. With this trailer, most of the wood was in decent shape. To save money we ran the old boards through a planer, only having to replace one.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Our favorite trailer</image:title>
      <image:caption>Sharon and I wanted a little trailer to use behind our SUV’s to avoid having to drive our big trucks. We finally got around to building this and we absolutely love it. As with all of out trailers we customize for maximum use-ability and safety. We can add many of these little details to your trailer as well.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5e122aa05c66b642e53f56c8/1684457815240-SYBIP4JD0WX4MI55DOOM/IMG_5718.JPG</image:loc>
      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Our favorite Trailer</image:title>
      <image:caption>This trailer has a true 1 ton axle. We’ve had 1800lbs in this bad girl and she took it like a champ. Notice the two marker lights. One is actually a turn signal. We do this on all of our trailers now. We have a tie off bar wrapping the trailer on all sides. This allows you to grab a tie down any where. Notice also the bi-fold ramp.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5e122aa05c66b642e53f56c8/1684457821839-DZHJY7YBNATNY2FJXLLK/IMG_5717.JPG</image:loc>
      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Bi-fold trailer ramp</image:title>
      <image:caption>We make these ourselves. Its something that you never see. It has several advantages. The most obvious is greatly reduced wind resistance and increased fuel economy when towing. The difference is palpable. The way we construct this is actually significantly stronger than a 1 piece trailer ramp. There is absolutely zero flex in this ramp when it is lowered down. Instead of crappy hinges, this ramp is hinged with bearings and 1/2” bolts and can be easily removed with a wrench if needed, unlike most trailer ramps that are welded on and have to be cut free. It’s operation is very smooth.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5e122aa05c66b642e53f56c8/1684516679293-6YKSC2FPS6HP7ENP8O9U/IMG_5714.JPG</image:loc>
      <image:title>Trailer Projects - The little things.</image:title>
      <image:caption>We also installed tie downs on all four corners that drop into the floor. These are the absolute perfect thing to use if you are trying to secure a motorcycle or something else that is top heavy. Also, on our trailers with wood decking, we take the time to cut a camphor into the decking on each side to create a pocket for the wiring to run. This hides and protects the wiring from weather, snags, and abrasions. It just looks right as well.</image:caption>
    </image:image>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Wiring</image:title>
      <image:caption>This picture illustrates our attention to detail in wiring. The clear insulation goes all the way into the trailer protecting the wired for damage caused by abrasion. If you want it done cheap- we aren’t the guys. If you want it done right- bring it here.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - More lights</image:title>
      <image:caption>Clearance lights are only required on trailers 16’ and larger. We don’t care. This trailer lights up like a UFO at night. The outside pair of these clearance lights are also turn signals. There is a piece of mind when you are towing, when you know that your trailer is brightly lit and other vehicles have NO DOUBT at all as to whether you’re turning, or breaking. If you get hit in a trailer that we wired, they’ll have no excuse at all. Also- NO ONE will tailgate you at night in one of our trailers. Not unless they are driving by braille to begin with.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Old dump trailer</image:title>
      <image:caption>The trailer is owned by a large construction company. It had received many years of hard use and abuse. The side was smashed, fenders coming off and smashed, lights didn’t work right, brakes gone and the hydraulics didn’t work right. The owner was about to sell it and buy a brand new one.</image:caption>
    </image:image>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Old Dump Trailer project</image:title>
      <image:caption>For around less than half the price of a new dump trailer, we tore this down and rebuilt it. We reinforced and added a lot of details to make it better and stronger than a brand new trailer in more than one regard. The owner is blown away and thrilled by the end result. Notice the smashed in side and the silly thin lip around the top of the trailer.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5e122aa05c66b642e53f56c8/1684524883336-WVCZ1AKYKR31851VLJPH/IMG_3378.JPG</image:loc>
      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Dump Trailer Rebuild</image:title>
      <image:caption>We have re-wired the battery system and installed a 7.5 amp heavy duty solar charger to the battery. These trailers tend to sit for long periods of time and are normally constructed to just charge the battery with the 7th wire of the truck. Great if the truck pulling it has the 7th wire going to the battery you drive along with it every day. The customer for this project had actually made a 30’ lead that they had to connect to the trucks battery. Now the battery is always charged and all you have to do is hit the remote. We also added a reinforced shield extending off the front of the trailer covering the battery box and tongue to protect it from dirt and debris. Note the double marker lights. One is a turn signal.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5e122aa05c66b642e53f56c8/1684525236701-57I5XBX2JIIQ2MIRXADK/IMG_3383.JPG</image:loc>
      <image:title>Trailer Projects</image:title>
      <image:caption>We added a holder to permanently store a small pry bar.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5e122aa05c66b642e53f56c8/1684524892248-PBBMZ8K52R9R21VJDB4Y/IMG_3384.JPG</image:loc>
      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Pry Bar</image:title>
      <image:caption>The purpose behind the prybar is for the little pry blocks. These dump bed gates will always get bent and not shut correctly. These little tabs make it a breeze no matter how bent out of shape the doors get.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5e122aa05c66b642e53f56c8/1684524910928-V3IONR27FPTJJQNZYVDW/IMG_3388.JPG</image:loc>
      <image:title>Trailer Projects - New sides</image:title>
      <image:caption>We replaced the old fenders. We are partial to squared diamond plate fenders. They just look better. The side of the trailer had been smashed in and we cut out the smashed metal and replaced it with clean. We then removed the entire top of the sides, which was just weak 14g with a pan brake and replaced it with super strong 1/4 thick steel angle. Now big rocks and debris will never dent this trailer again.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5e122aa05c66b642e53f56c8/1684525979559-T6J3UICDJBRA4DI2ES2R/IMG_3385.JPG</image:loc>
      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Lighting.</image:title>
      <image:caption>Once again, we re-mounted the main lights up high with the license plate on the fender. The housings are 1/4” steel and the lights are completely protected. We like large LED lights. The five clearance lights also act as turn signals as well. Bright at night is an understatement for this trailer.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Proper wiring</image:title>
      <image:caption>We prefer to use junction boxes when wiring 7 wire trailers. Also, on a dump trailer, its more difficult to hide the wiring so we wrap it all up in a corrugated pvc loom for protection.</image:caption>
    </image:image>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Car hauler modification</image:title>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Car hauler modification</image:title>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Car Hauler Modification</image:title>
      <image:caption>Here is the whole shebang assembled. The winch easily released. The customer had a plug installed into the bumper of their truck to power the winch straight off of the trucks batteries removing the need for a permanent battery.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Food Trailer</image:title>
      <image:caption>The owner of this food trailer had a couple of things done. They needed lockable enclosed storage for a generator on the tongue of the trailer as well as Stainless Steel splash guards all around the cooking area. Their very good food is fried in large woks and they were concerned about bystander getting hot oil on them by accident.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Food Trailer Stainless splash guards.</image:title>
      <image:caption>Here they are completed. We didn’t just cut some sheets and screw them in. The pieces are reinforced so that they are rigid an do not flop around in the wind or when traveling. The operation of the ramp on the back was not affected.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - Simple things</image:title>
      <image:caption>Most trailer manufactures put just enough support on a fender to keep it from falling off going down the road. This trailer was in for something else and we also reinforced the fenders as they were coming loose. This is our preferred method as well as a middle support for tandem axles.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Trailer Projects - The little things</image:title>
      <image:caption>Let us help you make the little improvements that make your trailer work smoother and easier. Trailer builders simply want to build as quick and cheap as possible. A lot of time what you have “works” but could definitely be improved. The little rings are a great example.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Commercial Work - We come prepared!</image:title>
      <image:caption>Most guys work out of a little trailer. For general construction we have a huge box truck filled with all the tools, equipment and hardware for any general construction project. The inside of this truck is completely built out to be a total moving work shop.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Commercial Work - Steel Work</image:title>
      <image:caption>For metal only work we have a custom built fab trailer. We can fit pipe, structural steel or anything you can imagine off of this trailer. Who built the trailer? We did. We’re more than a guy just driving around with a welder in the back of his truck and a couple of grinders. You may have heard our ‘76 around town lately. The old girl is actually a complete chassis restoration with all the goodies. Built fuel injected 390 FE , 4:56 gears, fuel tank from a Kenworth semi-truck and all LED lighting. She’s our favorite truck of our fleet and everyone loves driving her. This was a shot taken while performing work at Top of the Rock in Ridgedale.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Burningbird welding also has a wealth of knowledge in carpentry, framing and general construction. We should be your first call when dealing with integrated structures. <image:title>Commercial Work - Better than before</image:title>
      <image:caption>Burningbird Welding functions with the philosophy of “ Better than before”. We removed all of the old siding and than resided the south side of this structure as well as re-designed better guttering. The structure was also painted as well as the columns. While we are not a siding contractor, we are are more than capable of doing this work within the scope of our own projects.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Commercial Work - Before</image:title>
      <image:caption>The bases of all of these columns had deteriorated severely due to being buried in dirt by a previous owner. The bottoms of the columns had to be completely replaced. The challenge is how to support the structure while performing the work and ensuring that every column returns to the exact same elevation to support the structure.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Commercial Work - Innovative Solutions</image:title>
      <image:caption>Burningbird Welding has a long history of solving problems and coming up with innovative solutions. There were 30 columns on this project that had to have the bottoms replaced and the footings remediated. As certified riggers with 15 years of worldwide experience in industrial rigging, Burningbird Welding can find a solution to your conundrum. This jacking collar system was designed and fabricated in house in order to lift each column individually, perform the needed work, than return to original elevation. Our innovative solution allowed the business to stay open the entire time of the remediation.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>We are certified to weld pipe and column steel with an open root in either TIG or Stick. If you hire a local contractor to perform this kind of work, ensure that they are properly certified and have the experience. We have years of experience and have performed this kind of weld hundreds of times.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Commercial Work - Bollards</image:title>

      <image:title>Commercial Work - Bollards</image:title>
      <image:caption>Bollards done right. These bollards are all welded and still filled with concrete. The 2x2 post for signage coming out is set in concrete as well. Burningbird Welding does things differently than the other guys. We have specially built equipment that allows us to weld on round surfaces and than smooth the surface to where the weld line disappears. We also prefer to use weld on caps for a much cleaner appearance than the traditional concrete top shaped with a shopping bag. This process takes longer but the quality of the finish is undeniable.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Commercial Work - Proper installation</image:title>
      <image:caption>We fabricated brackets to lock the bottom of the fan tight against the wall. We than fabricated the bracket that you see in order to use all threads with hillside washers to physically ratchet the fan tight against the wall. Notice the all thread in the middle. These fans are heavy. It was important to us to spread the load out. We were able to transfer the weight of each fan to 3 purlins instead of just the one on the bottom. It’s attention to detail like this that will ensure these are in service as long as the building is there.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>This was a complicated project. The porch is shaped like an isosceles triangle. Without any hips means that none of the beams are flat and all have an angle. The front 6x16” Dougfir beam sits on 1.8 degrees of drop. We performed the final engineering and fabrication of ever part of this project.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Fence and Handrails - Exterior Railing</image:title>
      <image:caption>This is an exterior guard rail on 1.8 degrees of drop. We believe in quality work. We only use Stainless steel or galvanized steel concrete anchors on all of our handrail projects. Most handrails start to degrade starting with the concrete anchors. Other contractors use nickel coated or bare steel because they are cheaper and can be bought at your local hardware store. We custom order our anchors to have the best product so that your investment will last for many years to come.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Fence and Handrails - Complete in house fabrication</image:title>
      <image:caption>This project was fabricated 100% in house with the exception of the remote control drive motor and gear strip. We engineer our own gate slides to delete rollers that always fail in favor of HDPE glide plates that never fail and are cheap and easy to replace after years of use. We also fabricated our tracking. This customer has a fleet of large trucks and there is no tracking available on the open market that can support the forces applied by large trucks and equipment.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Fence and Handrails - Stainless Stainless and more Stainless</image:title>
      <image:caption>We are THE guys in the Branson area for Stainless Steel work. We were presented with concept drawings for the project and had many engineering challenges to bring this project to life. This simple handrail is, technically, probably the most challenging handrail in all of Branson due to shape, material, and finish.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5e122aa05c66b642e53f56c8/1684423133385-QR3RR8RV9PO8CVOA3ESO/IMG_2247.JPG</image:loc>
      <image:title>Fence and Handrails - 316L Stainless is as rigid and strong as tempered tool steel</image:title>
      <image:caption>The customer wanted the handrail to follow the contours of the pool. There are multiple radii breaking in different directions within individual sections. Imagine figuring out how to bend tow pieces of pipe that perfectly match out of a material that is almost twice as inflexible as grade 60 normal steel! Shout out to Phil for doing a great job with a lot of this hand rolling! We had to design several jigs to accomplish this project as well as build a custom electric over hydraulic rolling machine that was portable!!!!</image:caption>

      <image:title>Fence and Handrails - Crazy Curves and Spindles and Spindles</image:title>
      <image:caption>Another challenge was how to center hundreds and hundreds of spindles perfectly spaced and centered for welding.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Fence and Handrails - Base Plates and finishes</image:title>
      <image:caption>We had to engineer a baseplate where all the fasteners were completely hidden and could be taken apart easily. Once of the great things about Stainless Steel is its durability and ability to hold a finish. The nightmare is putting a finish on. These base plates are a combination of a bead blast finish with a No.8 mirror polish around the edge. The rest of the handrail is a N0.4 brushed finish all done by hand with a large assortment of specialized equipment, some custom made for this project.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Fence and Handrails - It looks so simple in the drawings..................</image:title>
      <image:caption>We fabricated (but did not install) this decorative all aluminum decorative railing above the entry vestibule of this building. It’s 16’ across and does not have a uniform radius. Someone should have a talk with these architects…………. Bring us your hard stuff. We like punishment.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Fence and Handrails - Long drops</image:title>
      <image:caption>We are keen to offer different alternatives to our customers based on our experience. The original design of the handrail had a continuous top rail that would of looked awful as it made its decent down the hill. We offered an alternative design that made the decent and still looked attractive and correct. We fabricated custom mounting brackets to physically attach the handrail to the back of the curb instead of having to dig and concrete each one in place. We were proud when the owner of the property did a site inspection. He went straight to the rail first and commented that this was the best looking rail on all of his properties.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Fence and Handrails - Entry Gate</image:title>
      <image:caption>This is a large entry gate for a hunting club in Arkansas. We used special order heavy duty adjustable hinges that have bearings in them. We do not like to use of the shelf junk from the local home stores or farm store. We like to over engineer our products so that your investment lasts as long as possible. We also engineered a compartment in the fence to protect the lock from ever being tampered with. ——- don’t lose the key folks. We also designed this fence in house. This is a repeat commercial customer whose trust in our judgement and quality of work has been earned. Let us earn yours.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Fence and Handrails - Residential Fence</image:title>
      <image:caption>This is a style of fence, that to my knowledge I’m the only one who makes and I’ve not seen similar. I love this style of fencing because it is attractive, but subtle. It doesn’t intrude visually on what’s beyond, so if you have pretty woods that you still want to enjoy while sitting on your porch- this is perfect. This is also a very cost effective fence to build and is often cheaper than a cedar fence.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>This is a project for the City of Branson at the Compton WWTP. We built two of these. These are all aluminum structures. The handrails themselves are 2” Schedule 40 Aluminum pipe. Heavy stuff. We built each section in the computer and then bent the pipe here in the shop. <image:caption>This was a commercial project that we did for the city. We engineered, designed and fabricated this bridge at the Compton WWTP. This is an entirely aluminum structure. Then handrail on this project is very challenging. 6061 Aluminum schedule 40 2” pipe does not like to bend or to be worked. Not only are we more than capable of coming up with solutions to your problems, we enjoy it as well.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>We were contacted by a local engineer to help with this project. We designed the supports and generated the drawing per the engineers guidelines. Our drawings were than approved, and sent to the city for approval. We than fabricated and installed. We delivered these with two coats of high zinc steel primer. Notice also the use of jack nuts and shims. This is the appropriate way for column base plates.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>It is important to us to ensure that the quality of our work extends to means and methods as well. We will only use SS or hot dipped galvanized anchors on your project. Most handrails degradations begins with the wrong anchor. The previous picture shows the pipe shims under the base plates. The project is completed with a non-shrink load bearing grout. This combination will last for many many years to come.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>This is a cool base we made for our 72” belt sander. The bottom is a 1940’s heavy truck wheel found in an old field complete with old tire. The pipe was demoed from a previous project and has been outside in the elements for over 30 years. Very cool patina. Of course a nice tight fillet stick weld to hold it all together.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Welds - Boilermaker R-stamp tube test</image:title>
      <image:caption>This is a 3” schedule 160 tube test. This is a 3” pipe with a 1” hole. It is technically a combo weld, but unlike piping TIG is only used on the root. You have to go to stick on the hot pass. There are NO POWER tools allowed to take that test. Only a file and an wire hand brush. There’s over 5 pounds of stick rod in this weld which is done on the 6g. This is probably the most difficult 6g weld test in the welding world. This test is a VT and an X-ray. The tolerances are much tighter than for piping in the X-ray and the root. When this test is taken in the nuclear industry there are no inclusions allowed. The entire root has to be above flush and not to exceed 1/8” in push through. This test can also be graded with a side bend.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Welds - Boiler Maker R-stamp tube test</image:title>
      <image:caption>Oh- Did I mention that you have to use your right and left hands for this test. Unlike pipe welders, tube welders have to weld ambidextrously. Maybe 10 percent of pipe welders can use both hands. All tube welders can. Many proctors will automatically fail a candidate if they see them using just their strong arm and not switching arms. I’ve personally taken and passed this test dozens of times all across the country. I have also busted the darn thing once.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>We are the only shop in Branson that understands what it takes to properly weld specialty components and how to temper, anneal, and the appropriate pre-heats for these pieces. This piece required a hydrogen bake to anneal the metal to prevent it from fracturing as well as a specific temperature for the base metal to be at before welding. This component was part of a machine that carries people and is a critical component. Choose the right craftsman for your work.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>This is were you separate the wannabe’s from the real deal. This is schedule 40 308 in 8” stick all the way out including the root. It’s way faster and cheaper than TIG welding SS and doesn’t require any argon at. Tig is the industry standard because few welders have the knack for being able to do this. <image:caption>This is a repair made to a commercial sink that was built from 430 stainless steel. Due to the base metal, and the location, a traditional welding solution wouldn’t of been appropriate. The sink would also of been a throw-away. However, we are able to use a low temp food grade specialty solder to repair the sink. We than electro-chemically cleaned the work area.</image:caption>
